Route
Wednesday, Arrival

Individual arrival in Vienna-Nussdorf. Boarding from 2:30 p.m.; departure at 3:00 p.m. past the Donau-Auen National Park and the Hainburg Gate to the Slovak capital, Bratislava. Active tour: Luggage drop-off at the ship at 11:00 a.m.; rental bike handover and individual cycle tour Vienna–Bratislava: round trip ship-to-ship, 100% car-free and flat on hard-surfaced paths through the Austrian Donau-Auen National Park via Hainburg to Bratislava (+67 km; please advise upon booking).

Thursday, Budapest (22 km)

Optional: City tour by bus in the morning (3 hours). Bike tour along the well-signposted and flat Danube Cycle Path to the car-free Margaret Island or through the city center.
Active Tour: Extended cycle tour on side roads (40%) and car-free paths (60%) to the artists’ town of Szentendre (picturesque setting; +56 km round trip).

Friday, Kalocsa - Baja (55 km)

Optional: Guided tour (1 hour) of Kalocsa Cathedral and the baroque Bishop’s Palace (with St. Stephen’s Crown). From the ship, cycle on a car-free path into the center of the small Puszta town; return car-free to the Danube. Continue along a car-free dam path, passing herds of cattle, pigs, and horses, with about 5% through villages near the Danube, to the baroque town of Baja (Town Hall tower, old town). Interesting sculptures along Hungary’s most famous pilgrimage route. Car-free return from the center to the ship with embarkation in Baja; departure at 4:00 p.m.

Saturday, Belgrade and Sava Island (35 km)

Arrival at 11:00 a.m. Optional: City tour by bus including Kalemegdan Fortress (approximately 2.5 hours). In the afternoon, cycle mostly car-free and flat paths from the ship along the Sava through the recreational areas of the Serbian capital.

Sunday, Passage through the Iron Gate

Sail through the Bay of Orsova. Morning passage through the Iron Gate. Continue to Golubac and guided visit of the impressive fortress in the late morning.

Monday, Mohács/Baja (36 km)

From Mohács (famous for the carnival and Busós – similar to our Perchten) along the Danube Cycle Path to baroque Baja. Individual visits to the Town Hall tower and old town.

Tuesday, Štúrovo/Esztergom to Komárno (56 km)

In the morning optional: Guided tour of Esztergom Basilica. By bike from the ship, mostly car-free and flat, well signposted along the Danube Cycle Path on unpaved dam paths through extensive floodplain areas, via small villages such as Moca, to the remains of the Roman fort Kelamantia and into the center of Komárno, birthplace of Franz Lehár. Departure at 6:30 p.m. towards Vienna.

Wednesday, Disembarkation

Arrival in Vienna at approx. 9:30 a.m. Disembarkation by 10:30 a.m. and individual departure.

Please note that changes of the route may occur for your safety, as determined by the 1st Captain due to high water, low water, or other cases of force majeure. Arrival times are subject to lock waiting times and normal water levels.

The benchmark of all cruise ships! With us, individuality is the big plus. From the vegetable juicer at the American buffet to the "cheese from the board" at the end of the 4-course menu, we cater to your wishes. Dietary requirements are sometimes possible, please specify when booking. The choice of dishes is characterised by the specialities of all ten Danube countries, especially Viennese cuisine really comes into its own here. In addition, we offer the lowest bottle wine prices of ALL Danube ships, for example 1 bottle (0.7 l) Bordeaux Château Lamothe-Vincent Jg. 2011 for only € 17.90.
