Individual arrival in Merano. At your arrival hotel, you’ll receive your travel documents for the coming days. If you’ve booked them, rental bikes will be available right at the hotel. Parking is available at the hotel subject to availability; alternatively, you can use a public parking lot for a fee. The rest of the day is a great opportunity to explore the spa town on your own with its promenades, arcades, and Mediterranean charm and get in the mood for the upcoming cycling tour through South Tyrol and Northern Italy.

Day 2, Tramin (45 km)You’ll leave Merano and cycle through Nals toward the impressive Sigmundskron Castle. You’ll then reach Bolzano, whose historic old town with its arcades, squares, and numerous sights is well worth a short stop. The route continues through South Tyrol’s famous wine-growing regions, passing through several idyllic wine-growing villages. The varied landscape of vineyards, orchards, and traditional villages accompanies you all the way to the wine-growing village of Tramin, known for its long tradition of winemaking.

Day 3, Rovereto (67 km)Your stage first takes you via San Michele all’Adige to the historic city of Trento, best known for the Council of Trent. After a possible stop, you’ll continue your ride along the well-developed Adige River Bike Path. Riding along the river, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. Finally, you’ll reach Rovereto, a town rich in tradition in the Trentino region, known for its cultural attractions and eventful history.

Day 4, Lazise/Peschiera (65/75 km)Today, you’ll follow the route through Mori and Belluno Veronese toward Lake Garda. The varied route first takes you to Garda. From there, you’ll continue along the scenic Panoramica route, enjoying beautiful views of the landscape surrounding Italy’s largest lake at every turn. Depending on the option you’ve booked, the stage ends in the charming town of Lazise with its historic old town or in the popular town of Peschiera del Garda, whose historic center is characterized by canals and fortifications.

Day 5, Mantua and Verona (44/54 km by bike, 48-minute train ride)On the Mincio Bike Path, you’ll ride through the partly quiet and unspoiled valley to Salionze and on to Valeggio. You’ll then reach Mantua, the former ducal city with its impressive castle and magnificent cathedral. After your tour, take the hourly train for about 48 minutes to Verona. The city captivates visitors with its historic center, numerous buildings from different eras, and its unique Italian charm.

Day 6, VeronaAfter breakfast, your cycling tour ends with your individual return trip home. If you’d like to extend your stay, additional nights can be booked. Take the opportunity to explore Verona’s largely car-free historic center at your leisure. Also worth visiting is the festival at the Arena di Verona, which takes place from June 11 to September 11, 2027. For an additional fee, you can also take a train back from Verona to Merano.
