Route
Day 1, Arrival

Arrival in Nennig, a district of Perl on the Moselle. Free parking at the hotel. Your rental bike, if booked, will be ready for you at the hotel.

Day 2, Trier (44 km by bike, 42 minutes by train)

Cycle along the Moselle Cycle Route past Grevenmacher to the Roman city of Trier, the oldest city in Germany. Individual sightseeing, including the Porta Nigra and much more, then return by train, which runs hourly and costs around €16 payable locally, or by bike (+42 km).

Day 3, Metz (57 km by bike, 44 minutes by train)

Follow the Moselle Cycle Route via Koenigsmacker to Thionville, with its old town and town hall. Continue by train, which runs every half hour and costs around €8 payable locally, to the centre of eastern France’s cultural metropolis, with the Centre Pompidou, a truly unique cathedral and an impressive old town. Return by train to Thionville, as on the outward journey, and cycle back to the hotel.
