Route
Day 1 – Arrival in Dresden:

Parking is available in the hotel garage (approx. €17 per night, payable locally) or free of charge in nearby side streets.
Your rental bike (if booked) will be ready for you at the hotel.

Day 2 – Moritzburg (35 km cycling, 28 minutes by train):

Cycle along the Elbe to Radebeul, then take the historic narrow-gauge railway “Lößnitzdackel” to Moritzburg and stroll through the magnificent palace park. Return via Friedewald to Schloss Wackerbarth in Radebeul and continue back to the hotel.

Day 3 – Saxon Switzerland (50 km cycling, approx. 3.5 hours by boat):

Cycle past Königstein Fortress and the Bastei to Bad Schandau; in the afternoon, return by Elbe steamboat or by train (payable locally).

Day 4 – Meissen (48 km):

Cycle along the Elbe past Gauernitz and Scharfenberg castles to Meissen (cathedral, Albrechtsburg Castle, porcelain manufactory, etc.). Return along the left bank of the Elbe.

Day 5 – Pillnitz Palace (32 km):

Cycle past the “Blue Wonder” bridge (Loschwitz Bridge) to nearby Pillnitz (river crossing by ferry) to visit the magnificent palace of King Augustus the Strong, then return.

Day 6 – Dresden:

Enjoy an individual hop‑on hop‑off city tour and discover the many sights of “Florence on the Elbe,” such as the Zwinger Palace, the Blue Wonder, the Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche), and much more.

Day 7 – Departure:

After breakfast, return home.
