Arrival daily from April 12th to September 30th

Off season: April 12th to 23rd
Low season: April 24th to June 30th and September 1st to 30th
High season: July 1st to August 31st

If you arrive on June 12th, 22nd or 29th, you will receive half board for only €210,- and the e-bike at a 50% discount.

Route
Day 1, Arrival in Büsum

Unsupervised hotel parking (€6.50 per day), parking lot P1 (at the town entrance), or free parking in the surrounding area (residential zone).

Day 2, Meldorf (45 km)

Cycle through the Wöhrdener Loch nature reserve to the Wattwurm National Park information center and on to the small half-timbered town (cathedral, Dithmarschen Regional Museum), then return.

Day 3, Sandy beaches of St. Peter-Ording (69 km)

Along the Wadden Sea to the Eider Barrage. Continue across the Eiderstedt Peninsula to the “largest sandbox in Germany” (sandy beaches) at St. Peter-Ording, then return.

Day 4, Brunsbüttel (64 km by bike, 6 minutes by train)

Through the Barlter Kleve nature reserve to St. Michaelisdonn. Continue to the estuary town of Brunsbüttel. Return to St. Michaelisdonn, then take the train (hourly service) to Meldorf and cycle back to the hotel.

Day 5, Day trip to Helgoland (6 km by bike, 5 hours by boat)

Cycle to the harbor and take the ferry to Germany’s only offshore island. Exploration on foot (cycling prohibited). Return by boat to Büsum and cycle back to the hotel.

Day 6, Friedrichskoog Seal Sanctuary (57 km)

Through the Kronenloch nature reserve to the day’s destination. Return via the same route.

Day 7, Tönning (55 km)

To the Eider Barrage and continue through the Katinger Watt bird sanctuary to Tönning. Visit the Multimar Wattforum National Park Center (life-size sperm whale model). Return to the hotel.

Day 8, Departure

After breakfast.
