Arrival every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 1st to October 10th, as well as Thursday, May 14th and June 4th

Route
Day 1, arrival to Passau

Parking (approximately € 10,-/day) can be booked and paid for on site. Your hire bike (if booked) will be waiting for you at your arrival hotel. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼Hotel.

Day 2, Wesenufer/Aschach (40/69 km)

Via Obernzell and Engelhartszell (abbey) to the natural wonder of the Schlögener Schlinge or on to Aschach. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼Hotel.

Day 3, Linz (56 km)

The route takes you romantically through the sparsely populated Eng Valley to Aschach, passing Eferding (castle and parish church), and continues to the 2009 European Capital of Culture. An extra night allows you to visit the city and includes vouchers worth € 20,- for many shops, cafés and restaurants from € 62,- per person in a double room. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼Hotel.

Day 4, Wallsee/Au (45/30 km)

Today, the Danube Cycle Path takes you through the Machland region, past the Abwinden power station to Mauthausen and your destination for the day. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼Hotel.

Day 5, Maria Taferl/Marbach (49/56 km)

Through the Strudengau and along the romantic Hößgang, you reach Ybbs and continue to the day’s destination, Austria’s second-largest pilgrimage site (Maria Taferl) or alternatively to Marbach. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼Hotel.

Day 6, Krems/Traismauer (54/69 km)

Take the cycle path to Melk (impressive monastery) and then on to the famous Wachau wine-growing region and further on to the day's destination. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼Hotel.

Day 7, Vienna (78/63 km)

The route takes you through the Flower City of Tulln and onward to Klosterneuburg. Here, you can return your rental bikes and either take the S-Bahn (every 30 minutes) comfortably to the center of Vienna or continue by bike to your hotel. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼Hotel.

Day 8, end of the cycle tour

Return bus transfer from the hotel in Vienna every Saturday, other days by train (2nd class/free choice of train, every 2 hours, no transfer to/from the station). Return transfer of your own bikes on return days Friday to Monday with drop-off the day before in Vienna + € 38,-. Individual extensions possible.
