Route
Day 1, Arrival in Bregenz

Free or low-cost parking spaces 2–4 km from the city center (subject to availability, approximately € 6,- to € 10,- per day on site), or the Pfänderbahn parking garage (bookable as an add‑on). Bike handover (if booked).

Day 2, Horn/Arbon (33/40 km)

Through the Altenrhein nature reserve to the Swiss shore and via Rorschach to today’s destination. Overnight stay at the 4☼☼☼☼ hotel

Active version: Along the Rhine Cycle Path to Ruggell (Liechtenstein; +59 km round trip). Through the Altenrhein nature reserve to the Swiss shore and via Rorschach to today’s destination

Day 3, Gailingen/Stein am Rhein(69 km)

Along the way, you pass beautiful parks and (free) lakeside swimming areas; then continue along the Lower Lake to today’s destination. Overnight stay at the 4☼☼☼☼ hotel

Day 4, Schaffhausen and Rhine Falls (30/50 km)

To the watchmaking town (Munot Fortress) and to Europe’s largest waterfall. Return along the same route. Overnight stay as on the previous day.

Day 5, Constance/Kreuzlingen (52 km)

Across the Höri Peninsula to Radolfzell. Continue to Reichenau Island (loop tour +16 km) and on to the council city of Constance. Overnight stay at the 4☼☼☼☼ hotel

Day 6, Friedrichshafen (47 km cycling, 15 min ferry)

Optional individual visit to Mainau Island (bookable). Take the ferry from Wallhausen to Überlingen and continue via Immenstaad to today’s destination. Overnight stay at the 4☼☼☼☼ hotel

Day 7, Bregenz (55 km)

Through the Argen nature reserve to Laimnau, back to the lake, and onward to the island city of Lindau. Continue to the festival town of Bregenz. Overnight stay at the 4☼☼☼☼ hotel
