Difficulty Level
Individual arrival in the ancient Roman city of Trier. Unsupervised parking is available directly at the hotel or nearby (approx. €18 per day, payable on site). Take the opportunity to discover Trier from a different perspective during a one-hour boat cruise. Your rental bike (if booked) will be waiting for you at the hotel upon arrival.

Your first cycling stage follows the Moselle through Schweich, known for its historic ferry tower, and continues via Longuich to Trittenheim or Neumagen-Dhron. Charming wine villages, steep vineyard slopes, and the characteristic bends of the Moselle accompany you throughout this enjoyable ride.

Day 3: Traben-Trarbach (50/45 km)Cycle through the picturesque wine region of the Middle Moselle towards Bernkastel-Kues. Visible from afar, the impressive Landshut Castle towers high above the town. Continue along the river to Traben-Trarbach, renowned for its historic old town, the ruins of Grevenburg Castle, and its many architectural highlights.

Via Zell and Bullay, you pass the ruins of Stuben Monastery and continue to Bremm at the foot of the Calmont, Europe's steepest vineyard. Passing the charming wine village of Beilstein, you reach Cochem. Dominating the skyline above the town is the impressive Reichsburg Castle, one of the most iconic landmarks of the Moselle Valley.

Today's route leads through idyllic wine-growing villages such as Klotten and Treis-Karden to Koblenz. At the famous German Corner (Deutsches Eck), experience the spectacular confluence of the Moselle and Rhine rivers. The historic old town and attractive riverside promenades invite you to relax and explore.

Day 6: End of the Cycling TourAfter breakfast, your cycling tour comes to an end. A train return journey to Trier is available for an additional charge of € 25,- per person. Guests travelling with their own bicycles may also book a bike transfer from Koblenz to Trier for € 40,- per bike (available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays). Bicycles must be handed in by 5:00 p.m. on the previous day.
