  • We are the only ones to offer the combination of the Fulda and Weser Cycle Routes just before they meet near Hann. Münden. This allows you to experience the most beautiful parts of the two well-known long-distance cycle routes in Germany.
  • The ride to Minden is pleasant, without the typical northwesterly headwinds of the northern Weser route.

Route
Day 1, arrival in Fulda

Pick up rental bikes (if booked) at the arrival hotel. Parking can be booked and paid for on site (approximately € 10,- per day). Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼hotel.

Day 2, Bebra/Rotenburg (66/73 km)

To Bad Hersfeld and Bebra or Rotenburg (half-timbered houses). Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ or 4☼☼☼☼hotel.

Day 3, Kassel (74/67 km)

Through beautiful meanders and wooded nature reserves to the former royal seat (orangery, magnificent old town). Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼hotel.

Day 4, Bad Karlshafen (70 km)

Through the densely wooded Fulda Valley to Hann. Münden (half-timbered houses, old town); to Bursfelde Monastery (1 hill climb approximately 35 m) and to the day's destination (thermal baths, old town, townscape). Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼hotel.

Day 5, Bodenwerder (65 km)

Past Höxter (old town) to the UNESCO Corvey Castle and Holzminden to the day's destination (including the Münchhausen Museum). Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼hotel.

Day 6, Minden (73 km)

To the Pied Piper town of Hamelin and Rinteln (Weser Renaissance). Via Lohfeld, Hausberge, through Porta Westfalica (1 climb approximately 40 m) to Minden. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ or 4☼☼☼☼hotel

Day 7, end of the cycle tour

Return transfer (passengers and own bikes): The return transfer by train/bus to Fulda is included in the tour price. The return transport of your own bike can be booked for any Friday and Saturday for an additional charge of € 38,-. Bike transport is provided as part of the bus trip or, for return travel by train, with drop-off at the hotel in Minden by 5 p.m. the day before (delivery the following day to the arrival hotel in Fulda).
