Day 2, Wesenufer/Schlögen (40 km)Past Engelhartszell (Römerburgus Oberranna, UNESCO World Heritage Site) to the Schlögener Loop. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼Hotel.
Day 3, Linz (46 km by bike, 15 minutes by train)Through the barely populated Engtal valley to the Danube town of Ottensheim; by city railway (every half hour) to Linz. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼Hotel.
Day 4, Wallsee (45 km)Take the ferry to Mauthausen and continue to the day's destination. Overnight stay at the 3☼☼☼Hotel.
